We are setting out frames, but also attaching pictures to ribbon and hanging them from the ceiling so they drop down, we are hanging them behind our gift table and guest book table so they almost create a back drop
I've seen photos pinned (even clothespinned) to a ribbon swag or some kind of rope/string.
I like the clothesline one - I wonder what I could clip it to... Hmm. Lots to think about.
We just hung about 30 or so old photos of my hubby and I on a manzanita tree to match the trees on our dinner tables.
Not sure what they're called, but there's some sort of magnetic system for displaying photos as well - basically long strings with weights on the end to keep them straight, you hang them from the ceiling or against the wall, and you use tiny magnets to hold photos to them. They're nice because you don't have to cut holes in photos to hang them. If you don't have much space you could do this above a table.
I actually had a projector screen that posted pic's up of us all night. Also on my cake table I had 2 picture frames & by the bar there was also some frames there.
rday-
Did you ever use that idea of the room divder to display photos? I am thinking about that for my wedding next month but am not sure where to find a good one for that purpose.
Thanks
I'm doing this, but I'm doing photos of us with those that will be at the wedding. So, a pic or two of me with my Mom, with my cousin, etc...FI with his best friend since he was about 12.
I think I am either putting mine on a small table to the side, with a card box and maybe a dish of candies or something...or I am going to scatter them on the table we are dining at.
I think a projector is a good idea. make a slide show with your childhood pics and engagement pics together. Maybe add along a song of your choice and display after cutting the cake or duing your first dance.

I was hoping to have about 20 childhood photos of me and my soon-to-be husband on display at our reception. I don't have a lot of table space so frames are out. I was thinking of getting a room-divider screen and using that somehow...
Has anyone thought of fun/different ways to display their photos that they would like to share???
