mandirex, please do message me if you find anything away from this post!! I'm so interested-now we have a task-force started. HEHE :)
I've been searching for weeks and have found a few styles i think could possibly work with near shoulder length hair, i know that my stylist mentioned that with curls and the right pins in the right places you can add volume that makes it look much longer :]
I love the top one with the barrette-the positioning is adorable! I think that would be cute and then instead of pulling the back up, to curl the back and add a teensy bit of volume at the crown... The bottom one would be great with the tiara type jewelry, I love how intricate the detail is-but still soft. I'm even thinking maybe some soft pin curls and sideswept bangs? I like Reese's hair like this with a barrette on one side instead of her hair tucked behind her ear and maybe a tad more volume...
If youdon't want to cut your hair, definitely consider clip in extensions for the day! Your hairstylist should be more than willing to work with you and possibly make them or recommend someone to do them.

Hello Brides-to-Be(e):) & ETC;
I need some major hair inspiration! My hair is cut in an A-Line bob that doesn't quite touch my shoulders and I'm trying to determine whether or not I should cut it or keep on tressin'... :) I think of all the wedding magazines I've seen thus far, there may have been a total of 10 pictures of short-haired brides...and I'm being generous here, folks! SO-here's my dilemma: my love is overseas (in Iraq until August) and although we talk ALL the time about getting married and our colors and location and all the *SIGH* beautiful details, we are not yet engaged and thus, no wedding date... but considering that my hair so short right now and I can't see our wedding date exceeding August of 2010, I'm in need of some hair inspiration... (I almost dared to say 'inspHAIRation' but opted against to save your lame joke gag reflexes :))
I know our romance details were concise above, but if I get started telling our story I won't ever A) be able to do it justice without spoken words and B) stop. :)
So tell me-what to do-I love the idea of vintage rhinestone barrettes...what else?
Love to hear from you!
Miss Bravo
