So I’m doing my own wedding album layout in photoshop and would love some honest advice before I go any further.. I’m about 1/2 done and have poured over 30 hours into it already (most of that was blocking everything out and deciding how many pages I could allot to each section of the day). I’m worried the borders are too strangling and maybe I should change things up, and de-clutter a little bit.
I’m designing this one as 9×12 horizontal and am going to get a costco photobook printed first for me and the family. Then next year I want to adjust the design for panoramic spreads and order a flushmount one album from finao.
What do you guys think about these layouts? I’ve never done anything like this before and I’ve been staring at them for so long I’m all mixed up and don’t even know what to think anymore. Still have the whole ceremony and reception to do too! These are just the portraits.

I really like the layouts… the first few pages are fairly repetative with a lot of similar images though… I’d streamline that a bit, but otherwise it looks great!

@MissNoodles: Thanks =) I think I’ll do a ‘first draft’ like this of the whole book then go in and remove excess and try to eliminate as many unnecessary pictures as possible. It does feel repetitive

I like them a lot. I don’t know anything about your wedding or what you want but I don’t think I saw any images from your ceremony, if that’s somthing you wanted to include? and it seems that there’s only a 1-2 of your hubby with his groomsmen, idk if you got or wanted to include more of those. Otherwise the pages look great! Are those real deer in that one shot???? wow!
