So ... I'm getting married in August and have spent hours trying to find a site with whisky sniffers on it to fill with sand, shells and a candle. I want this to be my centerpiece, surrounded by rose petals.

I've tried googling "whisky sniffers" and "beach centerpieces" but the selection is limited. Anyone have any advice?

How about getting a copy of Martha Stewart's new destination weddings mag.  She has a gorgeous section on beach weddings and tons of diy ideas and templates online too.

I have to admit it..If we do a beach wedding, I'm stealing one of her tablescapes!

Are you looking for inspiration images or a place that sells the snifters wholesale? How many tables are you having? You might be able to find bubble bowls easier and then can put them up on a short candlestick or base instead...

Here's some images I found. They sound like what you are looking for, but they aren't snifters.

And save-on-crafts.com is a great DIY site. They have some different size snifters for sale.

Also in my searching, I found this site that has a DIY tut for the one above w/ the blue candle. It also has an estimated per-piece cost.

did you specifically want a whiskey snifter or could you use a brandy snifter?

i found this website that sells brandy snifters in bulk.

Do you have an AC Moore?  I saw large pedistal glass things there.  I know they had giant martini glasses, not sure about snifters but I think there was something that looked like them.
