I am trying to make a hair comb similar to these and have been looking all over the internet for a tutorial for a pattern and can’t find anything!
Has anyone come accross a tutorial on how to make something like this?

It looks fairly simple to me, but I make jewelry…
I think the hardest part would be making the “flowers”.
You can find everything you need at Michael’s or Hobby Lobby.Thin-gauge jewelry wire, preferably sterling silver if you want it to “last” for years to comeFreshwater pearls in the oval shape like hteseRhinestone beadsSwarovski crystalsWire jewelry snips, or if you are using a thinner gauge wire, just scissors work
I’d try out the flowers first. But a really long piece of wire to start. Wire a bead closer to one end of your wire, bend the wire behind it, and do a little twist at the bottom to “tighten” it. Then wire the next bead and do the same, repeating until you have all the pearl “petals”. You can just twist the wires together to create a circular effect. For the center rhinestone, just thread the wire through again and down through the bottom (maybe twisting again to tighten it all up, and hten you can use the extra wire left to wrap it around the comb in the place you need it.
For the branch things, bead the longest part onto the middle of a long piece of wire. Twist it to where you want that ‘branch’ to end. Then measure about an inch up one strand of the same wire and put a bead there and twist that one, move down it until you have it how you want. Again wrap the wire around the comb’s end.
You could buy some jewelry/beading glue too if you find that hte beads are moving around too much.
Does that help?? I could try doing a little tutorial for you if you need….just PM me for it so I see it.

Thanks for the advice! I did end up making my own hair accessory and white it may not look perfect I’m pretty pleased with it and it only cost me $10 to make!

@Wannabe-diy-bride: Hi..I was wondering if you would be able to do a video tutorial for the beaded hair comb. I am more of a visual learner..
I want to make a comb for my wedding..and if I’m ambitious I want to make them for my bridemaids…
Thanks so much in advance!!

stargurl101: is there any where you have posted a pic tutorial of how you did this? I have a wedding in a week and I’ve tried a few things but I seem to be missing something, it’s not turning out how I hoped.
