Has anyone else made their own ribbon bouts like this? I had a really hard time finding pics of them actually ON the grooms or groomsmen!
I am really happy with them; the base bow came from good ol’ Martha Stewart’s website, and then I just embellished them with a ribbon rose I made and guinea feathers. I think they’re cute and will look great with the rest of my Edward Gorey/Victorian/Retro mishmosh wedding.
Plus, my cat seems to just love them.

Thanks! Was hesitant about them because I thought it might be too busy but now that they’re on there, I am really happy about it!

I have never seen anything like that. Super Cute! We did DIY Boutonnieres but did a basic starfish on a pin.

Those look so nice – I love the colors you chose! I made fabric bouts, too, but not like that. I just kind of wadded/twisted some fabric and glued it.

I used guinea feathers too. Don’t you just adore them? Great work!
