    Hi Bees!

Hope everyone is getting ready for the long holiday weekend!

Just a quick question to those DIY self BEES out there that did their own invitations. Where did you get your envelopes from? Where they expensive? I have a graphic designer who is a friend and helping me with the invitiations and RSVP cards and such, but we have no idea the cheapest way to go for envelopes and such?

Any help will be appreciated! :)

www.envelopemall.com   I got our large and small envelopes from here for STD, and Invites! They are cheap considering they come in packs of 100. Hope this helps, and good luck with the DIY!

Another vote for envelopemall - I did a lot of price comparisons with other sites and those ended up the cheapest. I got envelopes for my STDs there and liked them so much I ordered more for my invitations. They should arrive today =)

    • STDs: 200 Natural White Square Envelopes $24.50 ($36.21 w/ shipping)
    • Invitations: 200 Mohawk Superfine Ultra White No. 10 Envelopes $19.00 ($31.44 w/ shipping)

For the actual invitations we had a friend design it and had it printed out at Catprint.com. That came in yesterday but haven't had time to take a look. I can let you know how it looks.

    Good luck!

I bought mine at Paper Source, they are a bit more expensive than most places, but we spent a little bit more because we didn't need very many.

But in looking around I found envelopemall.com to be the least expensive!

I bought all of mine from Paper and More. I think Cards and Pockets is cheaper, but I specifically wanted a Stardream Ruby color that C&P didn't have.

    Anchorpaper for paper and envelopes

They have the BEST prices, BEST customenr service, and you can order everything pre-cut.

here's one of their envelope options 250 for 15-25 bucks (depend on size)

    http://www.shopanchorpaper.com/p-111-solutions-linen-envelopes.aspx

And I ordered ALL (invite, pocketfold, programs, guestbook) of my paper from them and spent right about 100 bucks after shipping, which also included a paper cutter!

I went with www.paperandmore.com because they have flat rate shipping (I live in Alaska so that's a Godsend) and lots and LOTS to chose from. You can also get a sample pack for really cheap to help you decide. (I also like CardsandPockets but shipping was REALLY expensive for me-- why don't companies just use USPS Priority Flat Rate shipping?!?)

I ordered all my envelopes from clearbags.com, including my plain white RSVP envelopes, and the silver foil lined invite envelopes. I found their prices better than others, since I was ordering additional things.

I used cardsandpockets.com for all the pocketfolds, and anchorpaper.com for all my paper.

Another vote for paperandmore.com!  I bought all of my supplies for ALL of my DIY projects there (menu cards, programs, STD's, signage, banners, and invites!)  They were prompt, the quality was amazing and their shipping was quick!!

Thank you ladies, SO MUCH! All this information is great!

Instead of starting another thread -- this one just kind of bounces off from it. FI and I are paying for everything on our own (my dad lost his job 2 weeks after we got engaged, long story). We're sending out 125 invites -- guessing we'll probably have about 100. The vast majority of the people receiving invites are people we talk to on a regular basis -- or family. Would it be so totally ass backwards on etiquette instead of sending a seperate RSVP and RSVP envelope to just add a card that says something to the effect of, "Please RSVP no later than August 22, 2011 via e-mail XXXXX@XXX.com or by calling XXX-XXX-XXXX or by confirming on our wedding website XXXXXX@XXXXX.com?

Appreciate all input -- agreeable or not!

    Thanks so much ladies!
