I made my 2 bridesmaids and maid of honor hangers. I put them in a box with tissue paper and a note asking them to be in the wedding. I wrapped them up as christmas presents. I got everything for $20! Not too bad for a bridesmaids gift that’s also going to double as christmas presents! What do you think?

Whilst I think they are really pretty and really well done I personally do not like the idea that you are giving them as a be my bridesmaid gift and as a christmas gift. I think the two things should be seperate and for me something like a hanger with bridesmaid on it is not much of a christmas gift- more like you are giving them a gift to use for your wedding and wedding pics.

My group of friends never give Christmas presents to one another due to money issues each of us have in the first place. I’m not expecting to receive anything, and neither are they. So, I’m pretty sure no one will be offended that “all they got for Christmas was a hanger.” Me and the FH planned to have an engagement party with a Christmas theme next month where just our bridesmaids and groomsmen, this is when I was going to give the gifts and ask them to be in the wedding. To me, it sorta ties in together. I do appreciate your input though! Maybe I should unwrap them and just give them to them now and don’t do a Christmas theme all together.

@HelloRaeven: Well to be fair, you did say they were Christmas presents too.
I think the hangers are cute! Very nice

I think they’re adorable! Great work. Yes, the year of your wedding is expensive, so doubling up gifts should not be an issue and I’m sure friends close enough to be in your bridal party understand that! I may try to make something like this, too 🙂
