I am seriously in love with your card box...would you consider making this for sale? AFTER your wedding of course! or being commisioned to make one?! I cant do that! :(
Thank you so much llc and Osa. I really appreciate your comments. This was a hard one.
Seriously, this was the card box was hard to make. I was ready to smash it and trash it several times.
My wedding is after yours Osa, but if you want me to make you one, PM me with what you are wanting, and I can let you know how much. Also, how many cards you would need it to hold, so I could figure out the size.
actually i really would like something JUST like yours! hahaha ill pm you and lets keep in touch! I dont want to stress you out though! I dont want you to relive that whole ordeal. how much did it cost for you to make this card box? does it take a lot of talent to make it? I could attempt being the key word to make it ahaha...
I love this. Im so glad you perservered with this, because the end result looks like it was worth it!
@Osa: I had almost everything on hand to make this, so it didn't cost me much. If you want the same one, I would have to price it out. I would also need to know the size of the one you want. This one is good for a smallish wedding. I still have some rose fabric on hand, but I would need to get the boxes, more dots, ribbon, pink satin fabric, and a rose. Everything else, I have on hand. Now that I know how to do it, I don't think it would be so bad. I just had to do everything trial and error, since I had never made one before.
You could make one; however, it does require a lot of patience and perseverence. It would probably be less expensive for you to have someone else make it for you, if you are not a crafty person.
Thank you ccranetobe. It seemed to take forever, but I have gotten good reveiws from other family members and friends, so that is a good thing. I think the reason that I got so frustrated is because I am a perfectionist and I can see things that other people can't, so I had to redo a few things.
Those are adorable! I'm still debating whether or not a card box is necessary, but that just looks like fun, haha!
Good job! We're having a card monster- not as beautiful as that! But still very cute!
Thank you amanda.lynn. I debated too, but I figure at least one person will bring us a card, so it will get used.
Thank you Azin. What a unique idea. It is adorable.

DIY Card Cake Box
This project is not for the faint of heart.
I thought this DIY project would be one of the easiest to do. Boy was I wrong. It took me about a week to do this project because of all the redo's and having to make sure the glue and paint dried.
For this project, you will need the following supplies:
Instructions:
I am now going to cover my card box with a bag and stick it in a box. This is the hardest project that I have done so far. There were many times that I just wanted to smash it and toss it, but I am done, so that is a good thing. Now I am on to the next project.
