The excess fabric was actually a shawl that came with the BM dresses that the bride and BMs didnt want to use!! So I put the fabric to good use, and I still have extra!! Creative huh!?
It turned out great Jingle! Well worth spending an afternoon on and for free! Even better
I used fabric adhesive! That was the annoying part because my hands have been sticky all day!

oh you welcome! Good luck with your project! Just be careful using the adhesive spray, it gets all over and def don't use it on carpet (just lay out brown bags)!

That's really pretty! I spent a whole weekend making my card box, so you did good actually! Pretty much everything I've been DIY'ing takes about twice a long as I think it will, but that's basically all I do anymore, read blogs, (sometimes) work (or read blogs at work), and then go home and work on projects!

beexiong: I love Etsy! Honestly I get all my inspirations on there and challenge myself to make it! I get a sense of satisfaction knowing I can do it and SAVING all that money!! This card box was $90 on Etsy and I did it for NOTHING!!

So I missed out on the boards today because I've been working on this all day! I made this for my BFF's wedding! This project was actually FREE!! The boxes were from work, the fabric was excess from our BM dresses, excess ribbon from various wedding projects, and gems from my scrapbook supplies!!
I'm glad the way it turned out (inspiration from ETSY), but it took the whole afternoon! But oh well, anything for my BFF!! Was there a project you took on that you thought wouldn't take that much time!?
