i love them! i’m using books too! but i’m thinking of a small floral arrangment on the top.  if the budget won’t allow it, i’m definitely going to consider a charger and candles. that looks awesome!

We used books too!  We picked them up from the local thrift shop and they totally helped cut down on our floral costs.

I love them, the only thing I would say is if you are going to paint them white, make sure that you cover all of the cover with pait, I can still see some of the color of the original cover, I think it looks nice, but it would look better if you couldn’t see that part at all.

How about a red rose marking a certain spot in the book?  I could also see some ivy trailing about that arrangement?
