My FI decided that we were going to plan our whole wedding. The venue that we are 99% about is a private villa with a chapel. Since we are doing everything ourselves, there will be no wedding director. The officient is a family friend and we booked a friend who is a professional DJ. My question is how many bees plan on having live music for the ceremony procession? We don’t so is it ok to have recorded music? What do most brides do? For those who are having a wedding at home or a private location, who directs the flow of the ceremony?

I used pre recorded music. We had someone run that, but sometimes even your dj can set up the equipment to do it at the chapel for an extra charge. We also had one assistant and then our pastor who ran the flow. It was a fairly simple ceremony so it was a fairly simple set up. Our assistant came down to get the girls when it was ready. I told them when I wanted everything to happen and tried to make it really simple. I basically did everything myself too. You could hire a day of coordinator for the entire day or just the ceremony if you are concerned about it and they would be able to facilitate the day’s events.
