I’m looking for pictures of your DIY TULLE sashes or bows. I have found a vendor who will do organza bows for me, for .50/chair + $50 set up fee, which is VERY reasonable, but there is something about her that I just don’t like. So I’m looking into doing my own, in tulle, before singing a contract with her. We are looking at 170 or less people if that helps at all. Thanks Bees!

@emmos: One of the things to consider before making a decision to DIY is the time required. If you take one minute per chair, you are looking at almost 3 hours to do all your chairs. Do you have that amount of time to spend?
I will be honest and say that I hate chair covers, sashes bow etc.
If I had to do my own I wold pick somehting like this, that could be made ahead of time with an elastic insert so it could be slipped in place in seconds.

I figure that with my mom, Maid/Matron of Honor and Bridesmaid or Best Man that it will be pretty easy to knock all of those chairs off pretty quickly. We were going to do no chair bows, but the chairs are pretty ugly, and the covers are provided no charge. With all of that white it’s going to look like a marshmallow land, and too much white. We have a gorgeous lake view window, across an entire wall. I don’t want the ugly inside Marshmallow land to distract from the view!
