I want to have purple champagne flutes for my wedding party for the toasts but finding nice ones that also fit within my budget is proving to be dificult. I am now thinking of buying plain ones from Wal-Mart or a dollar store and decorating them myself. I’m not super crafty so it needs to be simple. I am at a loss as to how to decorate them with deep purple other than maybe etching cream or jewles. If I use jewles what kind of glue should I use?

I would suggest to look on pinterest for ideas if you haven’t already.
This may or may not help you
I’m attempting to do DYI wedding. I decided to use champagne flutes I already have at home and I found this DYI pinterest idea(1st pic below) that I was going to attempt to try. When I went to Hobby Lobby to collect all the items I seen a scrapbook paper craft of a groom and bride and thought “OMG thats perfect!!!” I went home and glued the groom tux on the glass with a hot glue gun. The paper groom only stayed on for an hour and started peeling off. So I am too lost on what type of glue to use and I am interested also if anyone else has a good idea on glue for champagne glasses.

I did the glitter ones above (the one on the left) in my wedding colours and they turned out really great!! I’d suggest giving that a try! It was super easy!

I also suggest using glitter.. it’s so easy, and looks pretty schnazzy. Here are the wine glasses I created for my BMs.
