Thanks for sharing! Our florist quoted us at $2000 for the chuppah and I found rentals to be anywhere from $500 up. Would you mind sharing the costs to make this?

@rachel - I'm DIYing our Chuppah using PVC piping, umbrella stands and curtains. So far, we've spent about $30 on the PVC piping and tools, $60 on the umbrella stands and $60 on 6 sets of curtains from Ikea. I'm going to use 4 set of curtains around the chuppah and sew the another set into some sort of covering and I got the extras in case I mess up. I'll try to take pictures and post them when I finally sew the top.
