Weddingbee boards

I was inspired by Mrs. Blush's post (http://www.weddingbee.com/2008/10/22/door-decor/) to make my own DIY letters for the church doors of my church.

I bought the same letters she did, they were $3.99 each from JoAnn's. I painted them first, I used beige paint I had around the house. After the paint dried, I used a skewer to poke holes in the letters. I bought flowers that came in bunches, so I could insert bunches at a time, meaning it didn't take long to do, I only had to do one line of holes along each side of the letters.

I used some Tacky glue to keep it all in place, and when I was done, I cut some slots on top of the letters and slid ribbon in. The final products are really pretty!
