DIY Dancefloor?! Show some pics!

@Gribberama:  I would suggest the grooved plywood subflooring so it “locks” (sort of) together and you will need to either frame it around the edge of the dance floor or use stakes (1-2 per board) pounded pretty deep to keep the floor in place.  The stakes should be L shaped at the top so the top of the L lays over the edge of the floor.  I recommend the stakes over the frame b/c eventually you will need to transport it, and it will be much easier to transport the individual squares of the floor, assemble on site, pound in edge stakes.  You should also put down a vapor barrier (e.g., tarp) on the ground before laying down the pannels so they don’t swell up and warp.

Modpodging it sounds pretty cool, with maybe 1-2 coats of water-based acrylic sealer over the whole thing.
