I’ll be doing various cookies, brownies, toffee, chocolate covered pretzel sticks, peppermint bark (winter wedding) and hopefully some sort of pie (but I don’t imagine this would work for your containers!!).

I’ve mde my final decision for our favors and we are doing a cookie bar, so similar to your dessert bar, but only cookies! What I plan to do is make each cookie relate to us by using different decorations & cookie cutters. For example, we both met in college, so I am making a bunch oh cookies decorated with our school colors. Then I will make a different type of cookie in the shape of a dog bone to represent our dog. We’ll have mexican wedding cookies which will be a tip of the hat to my heritage, and so on. We plan on naming each cookie too, so the school ones will be the "Texas Tech" and our dog bones will be "The Golden Retriever" and so on 🙂

Cupcake bites! =) See PRO poster Melody @ Sweet and Saucy’s most recent post. Super easy. Make a batch of cupcake mix, combine with icing, and dip in chocolate! Really cute, too. ^.^

We are doing a DIY dessert buffet with desserts from places we have visited.  Here is what the plan is:

  • Eli’s Cheesecakes (mini)
  • Tortuga Rum Cakes (mini)
  • Fruit Tarts (mini)
  • Mackinac Island Fudge
  • Chocolate Covered Fruit
  • Milk Cake Cupcakes

I have the recipes for everything but the Mackinac Island fudge which we are having shipped in. I would be happy to send them to you, just message me. 😉
