ooopp.. I don't know what my computer did but it posted twice... Sorry about that!
Mrs. S2Be I love these pictures! Especially the blue pictures, the jars are sooo cute. Where do you get these types of jars?
I love the idea of a candy buffet. I should start gathering those jars now!! YUM
I love the candy buffet! i've been gathering up info for this but BIG question....who is gonna set it up??? I really want to DIY but i'm almost to the point to paying a pro to do it since I don't want to ask any member of my family or entourage to set it up!
btw..
dmitchell...add Petit Fours to your dessert table! suppppper yummy! and would go great with cupcakes, minicakes, chocolates, etc.
I love the "fishbowl" looking jars with the sign in them. SO cute. I think that those would make great favors!! They look small enough (and delish too)! :)
Contrary Mary that is a super idea, I forgot about those, damn now I am craving sweet stuff, lol
I plan on setting stuff up my self, I think I am on the verge of being a perfectionist, so I think I would panic if someone else did it, plus I wouldn't want to burden anyone else with the task.
We are doing a nostalgic twist... our dessert table will have baskets of hostess treats... think twinkies, ding-dongs, zingers, sno-balls! what a great late night treat!
We did a candy buffet and it was a HUGE hit! I made a temporary vinyl monogram to put on the wall above it:
I started trying to do color-themed candy and decided it wasn't going to be as fun and it would cost a ton more with our colors of pink, orange, black & white. I think it turned out really well doing the variety. Everyone loved it although we surprisingly had a little left over! I was sending buckets of candy home with the late-stayers! :-)
I love the idea of a candy buffet! We are also having a candy buffet at our wedding. Like lmz319 we are not doing a color themed buffet but rather all of the candy will be our childhood favorites and candies from Puerto Rico. All of our jars I bought on clearance at Michaels and Pier 1

Is anyone considering doing their own DIY dessert table? I am considering this task and think it might be a fun way to have some fun with my bridesmaids and other friends.
I was thinking, cookies, chocolate, cupcakes, and mini cakes. Just like to see what everyone else thinks on the DIY Sweets tables
