This is my inaugural wedding bee post – hurray!
Does anyone have experience with building either long farm tables (seating 8-10 people) or non-traditional banquet tables (for instance- using a door as a table surface)? Is this a feasible feat for a wedding one year in the future, with approximately 100 people attending (guests and wedding party included)? I would likely make 10-12 tables.
I found a few tutorials online and an Ikea hack:
But I am interested in hearing if there are particular project plans that are relatively inexpensive (compared to 100$/table rental) and feasible for scale-up production.
For reference, I have access to power tools, folks with woodworking experience and a place to store the tables as we build them.
Thanks a bunch!
