We are getting married on sept 12th. Our wedding theme is Love Never Dies ... with skulls and tattoo's (Bride and Groom skelton on top of cake with dripping blood on 2 tiers, skull tea light holders, all the flowers are dead, skull head card box, tattoo style invites (making myself) I do invites for a living), were also getting our wedding date tattooed on our wrist at the reception ... now my family thinks we are totally weird, but this is not THIER wedding, it's OUR wedding and this is totally US! But I want to give them a favor that they can enjoy (not to wierd) but still fit into our theme .. any ideas???? thanks!

Have you checked out the offbeatbride.com yet?

You could make a skull cookie! That would be so cool. Ask your baker!

I love all the flowers being dead!  Mostly because it would save so much money. :-)

My first thought was tempory tattoos, and then I thought of "Dia de los muertos" Day of the dead, a latino holiday.  You could find tons of cool stuff if you searched that, as they have sugar skulls that are edible, and other cool things too!

these "skull" coasters are cute:  http://www.madeinnewmexico.com/dayofdeco.html

     good luck, keep us posted!

I just wanted to pipe in and say your wedding sounds awesome!  I have a cousin who had a vodoo wedding theme, and it was totally weird and offbeat, but one of the more memorable weddings I've been to.  He danced with a skeleton for part of the night, which I'd highly recommend.  People kept cutting in and dancing off with the skeleton.

Okay, that's amazing. Because that is a lot like what I'm doing with my wedding, which is on Halloween of this year.

Do you have a website or some way where I could look at the invites you make? I'm still looking for a style that suits my skull theme and I have a feeling you're the right person to talk to.

Also, my fiance and I bought 2ft tall skull cut-outs and are decorating them with our important dates (engagement, marriage, etc) on one side, and the names of our loved ones who passed away on the other. Just an idea if you want.

Oh, and we bought a skull money bank for people to put single dollars in for dancing with the bride and groom.

Other than that, I'm still planning!

I love your theme! The BF would LOVE it but I don't think I'd have it at my own wedding. How about using the colors of your wedding for favors?

Okay, so bear with me here as my random mind takes hold...

What about gummy worms? I thought, dies --> death --> coffin --> ground --> dirt -->worms

Put them in a small celophane bag, and put a label on the bag with any motif you're using like the label is applied here. link

I think I've seen gummy skulls before... I was in a party store this week and they're already setting out halloween stuff, so you might check and see if there are any skull candies in the mix! Skull candies/chocolates really aren't that uncommon.

oooh rolling with LLauRRa's idea, add some "dirt" (crushed oreos) to the bag and some skulls haha it sounds morbid but awesome at the same time. :)

    That's such an awesome idea!

How about Halloween candies? They should be starting to go on sale at that point. You could probably find some with skulls on them and just spread them on the table. :)

You can actually find a lot of halloween candy at <span style="color: #008000;">www.CandyWarehouse.com.

<span style="color: #008000;">We're doing sachets, my mother had her heart set on them.  But right now I'm searching ebay for lots of skull, spider, and bat charms to sew to the tops of the sachets, just to inject a little of 'our' asthetic.

I want to see pictures of your invites after you do them!  YOur wedding sounds super cool!

As for ideas, I would look into Day of the Dead things, see about candy, cookies, things like that and if you could find something to buy or make for favors.

I would have my wedding cake have a large design that looks like a Christian Audgier/Ed Hardy tatoo design!

I'd use his "Love Kills Slowly" theme and change it to "Love Grows Slowly" and have his new brand of wine served at thew edding too!

Could you find a way to have temporary tatoos made for the guests with the logo and you and FI's names on it?
