So this is the look I’m going for:
And this is what I ended up with on my first DIY attempt:
All the instructions said that no more than one sprig of baby’s breath would be needed, I ran out just short. Then again I think mine might be a bit fuller than I’d like.

@renwoman: I love it! Where did you find the instructions?

@renwoman: It’s kinda big…

@alaha: I mainly followed this website:
Baby’s Breath Floral Crown DIY
It’s the easiest to follow, but even it says that you don’t use that much baby’s breath, so either I’m making mine a lot fuller than they did, or I have a really big head …

@ceebree: Yeah I think my next attempt will be thinner, but that’s what trials are for (thank goodness baby’s breath is cheap and easy to find!)

I love it. It looks so good with the color of your hair. I can’t believe you made that it looks so good.

@renwoman: maybe lolot will chime in, or you could search her posts. Her flower crown was perfection! I think yours looks good for a first attempt! I personally would prefer a little smaller 🙂

I like it! It will look different if you wear it lower like your inspiration picture and untuck your hair from behind your ears. You could also have someone stand facing you to trim off any stray poofs.

Very pretty! I’m impressed that you made this, I’m so bad at that kind of thing. Looks nice!

I think it looks like a pretty darn good DIY attempt! Good job!
It looks to be about the same fullness as the inspiration image (which is on the fuller side). You are possibly feeling like it is so big because you are nt used to the look of it on your head.
Why not make a less full one, or a couple different fullness-es and see what you like best

@renwoman: Thank you for the link! You dont have a big head and their sample looks way bigger in width.

It’s really gorgeous! Once it’s a teensy bit thinner, it will be perfect!

@renwoman: I love it! I think you will have to wear it a little lower on your head and without your hair tucked behind your ears (obvs this picture isn’t your “wedding hair look”), and it’ll look beautiful. Mine was quite a lot thinner, but if you’re going for the full look like the inspiration pic, it looks great.
@jessicadarling: haha, you know that I saw “flower crown” in the title and perked right up! Love them. Thanks lady 🙂
