Girl, you are fast! You should send this in to see if they will feature you for a guest post!
Great job on the tutorial! You should place a link to this post on the original flower one. :o)
Thanks.. I'm not sure how to link stuff. I'm pretty new at this posting thing.
Ooh, pretty! I would love to have a flower in my hair, so it's good to see some idea of how to make it.
Hi there! Firstly, this is very pretty! Secondly I just wanted to tell you how to add a link.
1.) In a separate window or tab of your internet browser, go to the post or picture that you are wanting to link to, highlight the link, and go to "edit" and click "copy" at the top of the window.
2.) Back in the original window/tab where you're writing your weddingbee post, highlight the portion of your post that you would like to link to what you're linking.
3.) In the top of the area where you type your post, you will see things to click on to format your post like the Bold, Italic, Smilies, etc. click on the one that looks like a little chain link, and it will pop up a little window. Paste the link in the first box, and click "insert." Voila! You have a link!
Great! I'm so glad you came back instructions. I need to check out some flowers and do the same thing. I'll be glad to see that several blooms can come together because I might need a trial run.

Materials:
Kitchen Shears/Scissors
Metal Barrett or Alligator Clip [I got a pack of 4 at Michael's for $2]
Mini Glue Gun (Low Temp) [$3.99 + $2.99 for sticks]
Ribbon (Same color as your flower) [50 cents]
Silk Flower, a few usually comes on 1 stem [$3.99]
Fabric Glue [I owned some already]
Feathers/Beads, or other embellishments [$3] (optional)
Instructions:
1. Plug in the glue gun, it usually takes 5 min to warm up.
2. Remove the silk flower from the stem, using scissors or kitchen shears. Be careful to cut closer to the stem so that you can lay the flower flat.
3. Measure out a piece of ribbon that will wrap around the metal barrett or alligator clip. Be sure to wrap it tightly and then cut the ribbon to size. See my back photo from my earlier post.
4. Use the glue gun to glue the ribbon to both ends of the barrett/alligator clip. Press firmly and then LET IT DRY.
5. About 15 min later, trace the entire length of the ribbon with the glue gun. Be a little bit generous, and press the back of the flower onto the hair pin. I placed my off center so that the flower would lie flatter. HOLD IT DOWN for at least 15-30 seconds until the glue begins to start drying.
**If you're like me, you might have to repeat this step twice to make sure the back of the flower is secured flat onto the ribboned clip.
6. Once the flower clip has dried, take a toothpick or a paper clip and drip it in a small amount of fabric glue to secure your embellishments to some of the back petals.
Tada! Instant fabulous piece for about $15-20!
