hmmm no, I’m doing it also. But then again I’ve been told I’m crazy for doing it hihi

I’m actually growing my own flowers for the bouquets and bouts, so I’m very excited to do it.

Nope, but make sure you practice beforehand so that you know what you’re doing, or at least have someone who has done it before helping you! I also found that youtube was an awesome resource!

Other advice: make sure you have more than enough supplies for assembling the bouquets. With the wedding I helped out with this past weekend, the bride had never assembled bouquets before (and relied on me to teach all 6 girls there), and didn’t buy enough ribbon to wrap around the bouquets. Pretty stressful since all the stores were closed by the time we were making the bouquets! You should also get more flowers than you’ll actually need since a few blooms in the bunch may not look very nice, or there could be a couple of broken stems. Anyways, that’s just speaking from my experience of making wedding florals 3 times. Good luck to you! 🙂
