I haven’t done it, but plan to. That being said, I’m planning on making only bouquets and bouts, no centerpieces. If I end up deciding to do centerpieces (heavy hor d’oeuvres/tapas-style reception so not sure if centerpieces will be neccessary yet) then I’ll do something non-floral.

I DIY’d my flowers (real) from fiftyflowers.com and it went great! I would do it again in a heartbeat. I had 5 girls and myself make everything, which included 14 bouteniers, 7 corsages, 7 bouquets, and approx. 50 centerpieces. I posted the whole experience with pictures in the DIY section if you want to check it out: http://diy.weddingbee.com/topic/diy-flowers-from-fiftyflowers

I did all my flowers. I got them from fiftyflowers.com. The service was fantastic and the flowers were great! I was not stressed before the wedding, but it is because I used to work in floral design, so I already knew how to do the flowers. In fact, it was relaxing for me! If you keep it simple, It won’t be that bad! If they aren’t perfect, no one will know but you!

I am DIY-ing my flowers as well and I am planning on purchasing them from Sam’s Club. Yes, I said Sam’s Club. I have read lots of reviews and know two people who used them for their weddings. They are really affordable and turn out beautiful. Just something to consider…

I DIY my flowers and got my roses from growersbox.com. They came out great. I did sort of procrastinate and didn’t get them done until the morning of our wedding day but it only too about 2 hours to make my bouquet, 4 BM bouquets, 4 boutineers (I forgot boutineers for the dads, don’t do that LOL) 2 corsages for the moms and 10 aisle runner/reception centerpiece arrangements. I youtube’d he how tos atheir was a lot easier than I expected 🙂 Good luck!
