DIY Flowers - Candy Filled Vases

    Posted in flowers but thought I'd put in DIY as well - results of a DIY floral trial using candy filled vases

    I think that is really cute. I'd put some crystal sprigs or something coming out of the flowers, but then again, I love me some sparkle! ;)

    thanks! it was a grand total of $19 and change and could be done for less (had to buy schmantsy whole foods candy for almost $9!).  i posted a detailed cost breakdown on my own blog, i want to keep tinkering with the filled vases idea, have seen them filled with everything from coffee beans to marshmallows to pussy willows online and in books - the possibilities are endless!

    I've seen this done with slices of lime, and I'd love to figure out the best way to do it. I've seen a few different ways to do it online, but not sure which will work the best.
