I am thinking of DIY’ing all my flowers and have thought of using Faux Flowers ( Silk, fake whatever you want to call them)
Does anyone have any pictures of their bouquets make from faux flowers?

I did a post about mine here: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/my-real-touch-silk-wedding-flowers-ordered-today
The first and last pics are silk bouquets that I made a mix of.

i havent uploaded my pics that I took tonight but here is one from my cell phone
That is actually my Maid/Matron of Honor Bouquet…. Before i wrapped it.
The only tip i have is if you are using flower that arent indiviual stems … you know the ones in a big bunch you might have very skinny stems.. what i did to overcome this was i bought Pipe Insulation from lows and cut it to fit and wrapped my ribbon around that… so it had a more natural looking thickness
Also floral tape and a glue gun will be your bestfriend…. I had to glue in alot of my little accent flowers.
I also found it was much easier to have someone else hold it while i added the flowers and wrapped the stems

I just got pics of my final bouquet and I wanted to share them with you since I knew you were considering this route. I didn’t do them myself, I had wedideas.com do them, but the price was still great, ~$400 for:
1 Bride Bouquet, 6 Bridesmaid or Best Man Bouquets, 16 Bouts, and 9 Corsages. That’s a lot of flowers! Oh, and I got a toss, too so I could keep mine.
With fake flowers, it really depends on the quality because there are so many different options out there. Good luck! 🙂
