Two days before the wedding and I have finished my centerpieces. Though my mom was planning to help, she wound up not being able to. So I created 15 centerpieces and two altar arrangements by my lonesome.
It was worth it though for the sheer amount of money we saved. All flowers are from Sam’s club.
Each centerpiece has 5 sunflowers (kind of mad they sent me yellow centers rather than brown centers but I knew it was a risk), 7 red roses, 2 orange lilies, 5 red hypericum, silver dollar eucalyptus, and assorted filler flowers and greenery. It’s been cloudy here for days though it will be sunny for our wedding so the lilies haven’t opened yet (grrrrr…. hope they open by Saturday).
The bouquets (not pictured), in case you are wonderind, are also from Sam’s but they come preassembled.

Yay! I love it!
Just out of curiosity, what bouquets did you go with? I ask because we have considered doing the pre-arranged bouquet packs (10 bouquets for $100? Okay!) and dis-assembling all or most and re-using the flowers within centerpieces/bouquets we assemble ourselves.

These are gorgeous, good job! Do you mind if I ask how much they all cost and how early you ordered? I’m wanting to DIY flowers and I’m kind of lost as to how much to order and when I should order.

It looks lovely! I know nothing about flowers, will these be healthy in two days for the wedding?

So here is my item/budget break down:
17 pc Sunflower Wedding Collection- Fall- #204217- $366.00
Roses- Premium Red- 125 Stems- #771575- $89.98
Mini Sunflowers- Yellow- 100 stems- #605615- $64.98
Asiatic (LA) Lilies- Orange- 40 stems- #762417- $59.98
Hypericum- Red- 100 stems- #461756- $84.98
Assorted Filler Flowers- 8 bunches- #800883- $59.98
Assorted Greenery- 8 bunches- #800791- $59.98
Total Cost: $785.88
I created 17 centerpieces with the following in each:
4-5 stems of filler flower
3-4 stems of “spiky” greenery
silver dollar eucalyptus around the edges
My containers came from dollar tree and each centerpiece also has 1/3 a block of oasis floral foam ordered from save-on-crafts.
Edit: stupid line breaks and also…
I had the flowers delivered on Tuesday, with the exception of the bouquets. It took two hours to prep stems, then I gave them 24 hours to rehydrate from being shipped before I started arranging. Considering some arent even bloomed yet, I dont forsee there being issues on Saturday.
