I’m doing a lot of my wedding decorations myself, but I’m struggling to find flowers for my centrepieces.
I’m going to consult with some florists this week for my bridal bouquet and the cake bouquet, but I’m not sure where to go to get bulk flowers.
Has any one had any experience wit this?
I’m on a budget and would like to keep it below $400.

Hi, can you let me know what you end up finding? I am researching for my friend. THanks!

I have a family member of my fiance that is gearing up to start a floral business so we’ve been doing a little research. She’s making 25 table arrangments for less than $200 with flowers she is ordering from a local grocer. They bring in small bouquets every week, so our aunt asked them to order bunches in my wedding colours for the week of our wedding. We had no problem working with them and they’ve been really accomodating. I guess this is something they do quite a bit around here, for brides hoping to save a few bucks on their arrangments. We are also using seasonal flowers (peonies) and greens from the gardens to keep the costs down.

I should also mention I tried a few flower wholesalers and they either weren’t shipping to canada, or the prices weren’t much better than going with the bundles that were being brought in by the grocer.

You’re talking about Ottawa right? Apparently Valley Flowers Inc is really good. They’re the ones who wholesale to the grocery stores but you can buy directly from them.
