- Wedding: July 2014
So many of you have inspired me to do my own centerpieces to help keep my costs low. My wedding is going to be at the National Aviary, but outside in their rose garden. I don’t feel like I need any absurdly fancy centerpieces because our wedding will already have so much natural beauty from outside going on!
I really just want something that will hold up through out the day, be easy to DIY, and look nice on the tables. I don’t want to be in the totally shabby chic realm or the over the top pomanders with crystals range (not that theres anything wrong with either of those!). In my search for simple yet pretty I came across some inspiration.
(sorry that’s HUGE!)
I think these are pink stock. I also saw some that I like that are pink larkspur, but I’m afraid my arrangements will be too tall with larkspur.
So do any of you bees know if stock is easy or hard to work with or how it holds up? Do you think this would look pretty/simple? Or just cheap and out of place? All positive and negative comments/suggestions welcome!
