I used Theflowerexchange and was really happy with the service I received from them. I didn’t have any reliable sources locally so I really had to pic an online service & theflowerexchange was cheapest for what I wanted.

My advice, do a trial run well in advance. It helped me get the hang of arranging the flowers & the level of care that you’ll have to give once your delivery arrives.

We’re doing 50 flowers.  Haven’t seen them yet, but my experience so far was awesome.  They called me the next day and went over the entire order with me, even told me which things I might want to change in terms of the timing in order to have everything optimal.  They seemed very knowledgeable and accountable.  And it’s definitely saving a lot of money. All my bridesmaids are excited too about doing them, so even if it’s a complete disaster, well, we’ll have a fun story to tell!

I’m using Sam’s Club.  There are tons of reviews and photos of the DIY bouquets and centerpieces from weddings on the site.

@SoontobeMrsFisette:  I did DIY faux flowers.  They were from World Market and I LOVED them!  DIY is the way to go imo.

We’re either using Sam’s Club or BJ’s Wholesale Club – ordering online and having them delivered.  I already did a trial run with hydrangeas and roses and they are absolutely gorgeous – and SOOOO inexpensive.

We’re undecided. Since we’re in Los Angeles, the LA Flower Market was our initial idea, but I think we may order in advance from a florist or grower and arrange the flowers ourselves. Since our flowers are in season in August/September, we’re DEFINITELY going to do a trial run this September, before I fully commit to DIY…and again just before the wedding to make sure we have an example to show our helpers (friends and family).
