@FutureDrAtkins:  Awesome! I totally don’t like paying $20 plus tip everytime I go to the nail salon & have them do it. My question is, though, how easy is it to paint on? It it apply the same way as regular polish (obviously there are more steps) or is the formula really different? Also, if you get it on your skin, how do you peel it off without the nail polish peeling off with it?

Can  you soak it off in acetone instead of peel it? Peeling poish usually takes part of your nail with it, making them even more brittle. Your nails look great!

Maybe it’s just mine, then. Even with regular polish, when it peels and chips, it takes the top layer of my nail with it.

I just got gel nails done at the salon for the first time, I am really loving them. That’s neat but I don’t think I have the patience to do it myself!

I’ve had lots of nail treatments over the course of my life and I’ve never had any part of my nail get taken off by peeling off polish, acrylic or gels. Acetone would probably work, too. But people can develop an acetone sensitivity, so there’s that.
