I have to say I think your hair flower looks better then the expensive one you showed! That was inspirational for me cause I want to use something like that in my hair! Now I'm gonna run out, get some supplies and get started.
Thanks for posting! I'm thinking I will try to do something similar as corsages for the greeters at our wedding. It will be less expensive than paying our florist for corsages, and they will last forever! Thanks again for the inspiration!

not sure if the Ikeas there carry the same faux flowers, but here in Asia they have some pretty awesome peonies that may work as hair flowers!
Wow... generally when brides make their own hair pieces you can tell they were homemade, this looks professional.
Great tutorial! I am planning to make my own hair flower, and then make colored flowers for my bridesmaids to attach to the back of the ribbon belt they are wearing.
