I love it! It’s actually very similar to what I wanted for my wedding day (my cousins did my hair and make-up) just with more natural make-up. I love the dark eyes though. You look stunning!

It’s perfect, really. I think you nailed it! I doing my own hair and makeup too but I haven’t a clue how to pull it off.

The entire look is lovely, but the eye makeup is EVERYTHING.

I love it (esp those gorgeous eyes!)- I would add a tad bit more blush though- it looks like you don’t have nearly any on…

It looks fantastic!! It looks professionally done! Your hair especially and eye makeup. I agree with your comments and PPs about tweaking the face makeup — more blush and maybe more coverage? Hard to tell from the pics, but it looks either light or flat.

Overall, nice job! I would definitely do my own if I had skills like yours!

leahloughran:  I love your hair!! You did a great job on the makeup as well, it doesn’t look cakey to me. Remember you want it to show up in pictures and they likely won’t be that up close. What products did you use for your look?

Love the whole look!  I might add some blush or a cheek highlight (I’d recommend High Beam by Benefit if you’ve never used one, it’s very subtle) just to show off your cheekbones and play up your peaches & cream complexion!

You look gorgeous! I love your hair. My only comment would be to soften up the eyebrows a bit — they look a little too dark/drawn-on, I think. But you have done an amazing job, and you look great!

leahloughran:  You look beautiful! However, I will give you a few pointers:

  1. I noticed the tone of your makeup is on the pinkish side. This is generally thought to not photograph very well- I would highly recommend finding a foundation with a yellow base. I know Makeup Forever has several to choose from, as well as Estee Lauder’s Double Wear Foundation. If you look closely, you can see that the color of your face clashes w/ the color of your neck/chest
  2. Perhaps see how you look without the eye liner on the lower lid.
  3. Like a PP suggested, try on some blush– I think it would add a lot to your look!
  4. The eyebrows look a tad harsh– I can’t really talk on this because I’m not the best at filling in my eyebrows. Try going into Sephora or Dillard’s and have them practice on your brows– that’s what I plan on doing!

LOVE your hair!

I would soften the eyebrows just a bit but I LOVE IT!!!

Many times I dont like DIY makeup because it’s either overdone, poorly done, or looks like nothing is on at all but you really nailed it.

Beautiful! A little more face contouring and then you are 100% perf 🙂

Very pretty.  I think your makeup looks better than most of the pro trials on here.
