Very cute! Is the wire sturdy enough to hold a heavy dress? Usually wire that's that bendable doesn't hold weight well.
I'm thinking of DIYing some hangars as well, but I was thinking of just covering some existing hangers in ribbon.

@kala_way: I had a dress that was similar to my bridesmaids' on the hangers and it held great! I wouldn't put my wedding dress on it though!

lol, my dress is supposed to be light and yet I'm afraid the hanger is going to crack the top of my door frame after hanging there for 3 months.
@kala_way: Are you hanging your dress on one of these hangers?
Is that just a normal wire hanger and you used pliers or something?
I want to DIY a hanger for myself and maybe my maid of honor (sis) and my mom or something for a cool dress pic or something.
@lefeymw: I bought a roll of 100 feet 12 gauge wire at a Home Hardware store, which was only $10CDN. Then I used pliers to help me bend it :)

I made these hangers for my bridesmaids and flower girl! It'll be a part of their gift but I thought it'd be nice that they have a nice hanger to hang their pretty dresses on!!
I haven't made mine yet but I think I'm gonna attempt to make mine using the wood hangers os it's sturdier. I think I might make each of the bridesmaids and flower girl the wooden hangers to but with their title - flower girl, maid of honour, bridesmaid.
