2. Ceremony Programs
3. Invites
4. Save the dates (well designing them and then having them made into magnets)
5. Escort Cards
6. Beverage napkins for cocktail hour and Guest towels for b-room
7. Jazzing up the centerpieces vases with ribbon
8. Favors
9. Hmm I know I have lots more I am not thinking of!
I have only started pro-to types because my wedding is still more then a year off, I am sooo itching to get started though!
DYI...
We have completed the following: (Can't wait to post pics)
Still on the To Do..
Not much DIY left, which is huge PLUS given we only have 18 days before the Big Day... working on getting the bridal party gifts together and still have to write my Vows - OH add that to the DIY I guess... OH MY!
DIY invitations- Michaels, Target, Joann Fabrics, and so many more have the boxed kits with everything you need, just print your wording.
DIY Flowers- fiftyflowers.com, growersbox.com and others sell all types of flowers wholesale, so if you're crafty and want something simple it's very easy to do your own bouquets.
DIY place cards- go to any craft store and buy a colored card stock that goes with your theme or whatever you like. Cut out rectangles in the size you're looking for and add little details to personalize.
The list goes on and on...
The best thing about DIY, is that although it may take some time it really gives your wedding a more personal feel. You can customize just about anything to make it the way you want so look around theknot.com has some great ideas!
You guys are amazing! I can't believe how many projects you've taken on. I think I'm in the same boat too. But don't wear yourselves out!!!!
My DIY projects are...
Things I have yet to do...
I haven't started anything yet, since today it's 13 months until our wedding, but I plan to start on the smaller projects this summer, like the crd box, table numbers, etc. I've mainly been mocking up everything in photoshop, so I can visualize how it will all go together.
@ArtichokeHeart... with a lot of patiences and some package templates from your favorite store
. We bought ours from AC Moore, but I saw some really cute ones at Target too. They all have templates in them to guide you on the formatting of each. They can be as specific or as simple as you want them... We used a tri-fold program and designed our cover to fit our style, then on one side we included our wedding party and how they were each invloved in our lives and the final page was a simple explanation of the program and what to expect, along with a thank you to our guests and a simple remeberance for those who could not be with us. We also included what songs were going to be played during each "special" moment...
Have fun with it and make them your own personal creation... HTH
Dang it, attachment size to big, let me try this again!

My centerpieces are kinda DIY. I got these set of 3 hurricane vases from bed bath beyond. I'm filling them with water and then placing a blue LED light in each vase so the whole thing illuminates. I am adding a flower of some sort (i'm currently experimenting with that) floating on top of the water. Inbetween the 3 vases will be a single pillar candle (not taller than the smallest vase). It will be resting on a glass holder and lit throughout the reception. I really like the room to look all lit up. Our theme is kinda beachy and the blue water will remind us of the ocean..
Here are the vases
DIY I have left
programs
seating plan
flowers
table signs
aw, I love my projects, wish I had more
My favorite so far are my flower girls' button bouquet {photo below}; the escort cards {I'm using old photos of every guest - they'll have to recognise themselves to see where they're seated!}; and the table numbers {self-portraits we've snapped on travels - we'll also be tying them into our kissing game!}. I love being crafty! ;)

I have a list of to-do projects (its still somewhat early for us, so I'm doing a lot of brainstorming and practices)
What are everyone's thoughts on DIY invites? I am in love with letterpress, but definitely cannot afford to order them. I bought a DIY letterpress, but am I getting in WAY over my head?
my favorite DIY project is the centerpeices/place card holders/ table numbers
The centerpeices are going to be mosaic glass bowls (making myself out of broken off-white spraypainted glass) with potted flowers, daisy's white lilies and whatever else off-white we can get to grow by june 2011 (our test run is this june my mom and i are growing all the flowers) also, there will be sand on top of the dirt with some some shells and starfish to "mask the dirt". around the centerpeice jars with sand/shells/starfish and votive candles!
the placecard holders will be wine bottle corks with slits cut in them, and the bottoms leveled off... (free!!! from friends and family who have been collecting) the underage guests will have shells as their placecard holders
my FAVORITE is the table numbers will be pictures of the dogs from the bridal party taken with a large cut-out number painted champagne. the girls pups will have flowers in their hair and the boy pups will be wearing bow ties!!
can't wait to do a test set up of all this stuff!! :-D
My wedding is a year away, but I am already starting on my thank you notes... I am going to use this same glittery blue paper and make my save the dates as well as invitations!! I blogged about the thank you notes!! Check it out! http://soontobemrsjackson.blogspot.com/
