Also - if you're printing your own, I highly recommend vistaprint - I designed my own and printed there and they did a wonderful job :-)

Also, don't forget local print shops. Just make sure ask if they will charge a ripping fee.
I bought my invite design from a seller on etsy for $50...she designed the whole suite. I printed and assembled them myself. That might an option for you too!
@erinleigh1 thank you for the website they have amazing fonts!!! I down loaded one called Old Script and it was just what I was looking for!
@PinkPinstripes I completely forgot about etsy, thank you for the reminder!
I did our DIY for about 1.50 per invite.
And to simplify some of our B-list invites I just nixed the pocketfold which would have cut quite a bit of cost and made for really simply assembly =)
I 2nd dafont.com as they have TONS of great fonts =)
@amnystik: Those invites are so cute :-) every time I see them, they make me smile!
Hi! I was wondering
@erinleigh1: How did you design your invites - I am sooo stuck, I have an idea but I have no idea where to start (like what size they need to be, what else I need to have printed)...ugh overwhelmed! But I would like to utilize vista print!
@nnikolasa: Hey - I actually designed them myself in Photoshop and then uploaded the template to Vista Print via their blank invitation form. Sorry for the delayed response!! Hope it helps!
I'm do Vistaprint as well. I bought a $17 groupon for $70 worth of printing and I also had my mother and FI buy one as well. So I'm getting all my invitations, thank cards, labels, RVSP cards, and programs for about $80!

Hello Hive
My fi and I are trying to have the wedding of a lifetime but on a beer budget. One of the things I'm trying to do is design and print my invitations myself. I had confidance that I would be able to do this with out a hitch but the first thing I'm running into is that my font on my computer are horrible! Does anyone know where I can buy or download good quality fonts that aren't $60 a pop?
Any money saving tips would also be much appreciated!
