Hi Sarah!
I'm still working on ours, but they will also likely be 5x7. When I started designing them I wasn't sure what size to go with, so I checked out Minted and many of the invites they feature are also 5x7, so I figured that was a safe bet.
Many people also do square invitations, in sizes like 6x6, so maybe that's why the 5x7 seems small?
Good luck finshing up!
Yeah, I really like the square ones but the extra postage isn't appealing. Thanks for the link. I'll check them out. I think the 5x7 will work and I will just need to buy a smaller stamp to emboss. Thanks for your reply!
Sarah
The ones I made are 5.5 by 7 inches. They seem a little on the big side to me, but I like them, and I didn't want my text too small.

I working on my invites and I have a question. For my mock up I worked backwards from a A7 envelope with the matte for my invitation being 5x7 and the actual invitation was 4.5x6.5. Now I am going to try to do some stamp embossing on it.
My question is what size were your DIY invites? Looking at mine they seem kind of small compared to others I have seen.
Thanks in advance for any replies.
