I made some beautiful invitations and program fans with the paper from paperandmore.com. They have nice pearlescent paper. I hope this helps *^_^*
I also used paperandmore.com They have great quality and quick shipping. And you can order samples to make sure you're getting exactly what you want!
I bought mine at Hobby Lobby (don't know if you have them where you're at). But I got this great pinstriped navy Strathmore paper in 20x30 sheets and was able to get 4 invites out of each (making pocketfolds). I bought regular 12x12 scrapbook paper there for mats for the inserts.
We have a paper outlet near me. I got an 8" tall stack of paper for about 12 dollars. All of their cardstock is 1.25 a POUND!
I'd google paper mart, or paper outlet and see if anything comes up around you first. I didn't even know this place existed.
I'm going to order mine from cardsandpockets.com I already ordered samples from them and the paper is really nice and we found the perfect colors.
I got an invitation suite from Target (pronounced as if French). I downloaded fonts and made watermarks and jazzed it up with ribbon bindings. They were awesome.
We bought the pocket folds, invite paper, envelopes and inserts from cardsandpockets.com. They were nice to work with, though our envelopes were on backorder and we didn't hear anything about it for a week. But I guess that's just their policy and they would have emailed us in the 2nd week.
Other materials like the 2 layers of matting we used, we purchased at Michaels and cut them to fit ourselves. We also cut our own invites from the 8x11 paper we purchased form cards and pockets so we could customize the size of the matting we wanted. We did a lot of measuring that's for sure.
We ordered our invitations, but we're making the other pieces like the RSVP cards, maps, etc. I think I'm just going to get mine from Paper Source, since we have one near us. They also have a website - www.paper-source.com .
I got my pocketfolds from PaperandMore (Plus one colour of cardstock that wasn't avaliable at EnvelopeMall) and then my cardstock and envelopes from Envelope Mall
my future sister in law is making ours..shes crafty, i'm not. i think her husband said she gets everything at papersource.
I'm using www.cutcardstock.com for my pcoketed card stock that I'll attach my invites to. They were really nice and even sent me free samples when I called them.
Cardsandpockets.com
I used them for all paper, and I even used their printing service. They were excellent!!! Quick, affordable and easy to work with.
I bought my paper from Kelly Paper Company. But their locations are on the west Coast in California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon and Washington. They have a wide variety of paper, inviations & envelopes in their stores.
Paperworks.com - They have a super wide variety of stardream paper for a lot cheaper than I was seeing elsewhere. Other places had the same brand for cheaper, but not in the colors I wanted.
I think going to a store is actually better, because although there are some amazing deals online, once you factor in shipping, the price goes up.
I got my pocket folds from cardsandpockets.com, they were the cheapest I'd seen pockets, about $.87 each, but after shipping, it came out to about $1.20 each.
I got my invites from Archivers, I just bought pink paper, and it was a little less than 5x7, so I was able to get 3 invites out of a 12x12 piece.
Before you buy a bulk amount of paper, be sure you KNOW what you're doing and how much you'll need. I bought a ton initially, thinking I knew what I was doing, but I didn't and now I spent all this money on paper I don't need.
This is my invite:
we ordered samples twice, and their service is quick and great. After I print some prototypes we're going ahead and ordering the whole enchilada :) BTW we're going with the linen-finish cardstock, it looks great!
envelopemall.com had the best prices by far on stardream cardstock. It came quickly and was beautiful stuff.
I agree with paperandmore.com. I ordered samples many times to get ideas of textures/weight, and their prices are great! Fast shipping and great products!
I bought my paper and pocket enclosures from paper-source.com

I know this is sad but walmart 100 cards blank for $14. went to micheals same thing was like $50 lol I did the math lol
I got ours from cardsandpockets.com
We am using the metallic sheets a lot for menus, ceremony programs, escort cards... And it is $7 for a 25 pack so I thought that was a good price. I couldn't find anything better for the metallic paper.
Kinkos has heavy card stock in all colors. I went with their ivory and it worked great.
I used cutcardstock.com and paperpapers.com, and then a local paper warehouse called Kelly paper.
These are my invites
Cutcardstock.com is great and you can get samples ahead of time to check out their papers (just include a note requesting the ones you really want to see...they've got great customer service). Otherwise the 100 sheet cover bulk package from Papersource is a good deal.
another cardsandpockets.com here. i've got nothing but good things to say about them!
Thanks everyone!! Somehow I stopped getting responses to this so I was shocked to find so many responses!
I just ordered samples from paperandmore and they got the samples to me in a day! I don't necessairly need a 100 pack though, so I'm going to be checking out all the other suggestions. I live in the Northwest and have seen the Kelly Paper store, but I've never been in... Maybe it's time now :)
I love all the invites posted, I think DIY invites are one of the toughest DIY projects a bride can take on. I'll post mine when I finish. Thanks again everyone!
ANCHOR PAPER IS THE BEST!!! just go to their website ... they ship super fast and the gentleman who runs the company is fantastic ... the paper is gorgeous
We got nice linen-finish cardstock from Anchor paper. They were great, and I agree w/ the previous poster that the man who I dealt with was very nice and sent personal confirmation emails for all shipments.
In the northwest I have gotten paper from Craft Warehouse and Bi-Mart stores.

Hi hive,
I'm getting ready to start the process of making the invites for our wedding, but I'm having a hard time finding packs of single color bulk cardstock. Anyone know of any good websites or stores to buy cardstock?
I'd rather not buy each piece individually, ugh...
Thanks!
