i just posted this in DYI on accident now i cant find it to move it.
I am doing my own invites, do i put the reception info (address and time) on the botom of the ceremony invitation?
Also if my wedding is at 4pm, is that considered afternoon or evening?

you could put the reception on the bottom, or i’ve also seen seperate reception inserts. i think it would depend on the style of your invitation, how much text there already is, etc. you wouldn’t want it to get overcrowded or anything.
and 4pm. hmm. i personally would consider that late afternoon? haha you could do it either way… but 4 o’clock in the afternoon sounds better to me?

I made my own invitations and everything as well! Since our reception was at the Ceremony site, I just put “reception to follow.” I think if your reception is elsewhere you should do a separate insert with that information.
PS. I consider 4:00 afternoon as well.

i’m putting the reception info on a seperate insert. my wedding’s at 4:30 and since its neither morning, noon or night, I’m just writing “half after four o’clock” and leaving the “in the ___.” out. 🙂 good luck on your invites! so fun!
