I really don’t think inner envelopes are necessary these days, we skipped them – to me they are just extra paper that gets thrown away/recycled. Are you having a formal, black-tie wedding? Otherwise I think you can skip them!

You definitely don’t need an inside and outside envelope for a pocketfold, in my opinion. The pocketfold serves as the inner envelope.

If you check my recent posts, you’ll see my pocketfolds with the envelope. I did a belly band with a badge type thing on the outside of the pocketfold that had the guest’s name on it. That sort of recreated the inside envelope feel, if you like that.

No need. I did inserts (well not inserted as I didn’t do pocketfolds) because I didn’t ant my invitations to look cluttered and I had a lot of info to share with guests (like the ceremony and directions, reception and directions and then rsvp inof and website info.)
