I did actually get those bad boys in the mail on Saturday morning. Anyone comment on your own DIY invite experience?
If cost was no issue I'd still do it on my own. I'm a bit of a control freak and wanted to make sure they really came out the way I wanted them to. The only change I would make would be to spend the money on a high quality printer so that I didn't have to have an outside company print my actual card before assembly. They weren't perfectly cut where I wanted them to be.
Other than that they came out exactly as I wanted, even with a little bit of stress in the mix.

I know many of you saw the mock up of my invites a few weeks ago. They were in a photo heavy post, purple and green with the 'Birds' theme.
Well, between being in another wedding as a bridesmaid and lots of little 'issues' with my supplies, I'm VERY close to finishing these. It's so satisfying to see them laying there, almost complete! With our wedding 5 weeks away, I'm running late but they go in the mail tomorrow! I'm so excited!
What was your DIY invite experience? Did you love it/hate it? And most importantly, if cost weren't an issue would you still have done them yourself or would you have paid for someone else to handle it!?
