- Wedding: August 2012
I know alot of people use vistaprint, minted, etc…..but I don’t know if those are truly for me. I haven”t found one on vistaprint I like. I found something on etsy and it turns out that they lady was not taking anymore august weddings (which is weird because I emailed like 1.5 months ago and at the time she had posted she was even taking may….and I thought why does it matter what month I am in if I am ready to get them today and you have time for people in earlier months)…..anyway…..haven’t found any that I have considered since.
Then I found an invite on someones paper blog that I liked….contacted the person who made it and then they said it would be about 500 just to reproduce it without printing costs etc… So then I decided I might try to mimic it myself but I am having trouble finding some of the vectors that I would need….and now I am just thinking I don’t know if it is even worth all the trouble.
Then I contacted a few people on etsy to see if they could mimic it…most wouldn’t, didn’t have time, or where too expensive.
Anyway, I can’t explain so much what I like and don’t….so I am no help there. Anyway, I am partially thinking I might just go really traditional and simple if I can’t get what I really like because then it won’t look weird I guess. I figure I could go the groupon letterpress route for fairly plain invites that will at least look really nice.
I’m gonna stop rambling…basically…tell me the detials about your invitation costs. If you used a groupon and such please state so and the cost if you didn’t have the groupon.
Since, I know some people might ask…
this is the set from etsy I liked….
