i think you could put the ribbon around the invite and through the holes and tie it behind the circle and then flip the circle and ribbon over...does that make sense? So you would just have to measure enough ribbon to go around the invitation and be tied and the circle would hide where the knot is. These are beautiful! Wish I had seen something like this earlier :-)
Assuming the purple circle is glued onto the front, you should tie the ribbon in a bow at the back, so your guests can actually open the invitation. :)
Arghh.. Where's your inspiration pic from? I've been googling manically and can't find it myself. :/
Too adorable - make sure you post how it ends up.
Thank you, thank you for your creative thoughts!!
@PDX... I absolutely loooove how that would look with the tie behind.. I am going to try it out for sure.. but...
@jenbrander.. your solution might be easier?? I like it too.. and the idea that it will look like a package ;)
I will definitely let you know how it all turns out :)
Here is the original post.... uh, wow! They're amazing, no??

I am in love with these invites! Wish I had the patience to do the lace, but I think I'll keep it simple and just do the circle monogram part..
BUT... how is the ribbon attached? The best solution I could come up with is hot glued on the backside?? Is there a way to make it work so the ribbon meets underneath the monogram vs. on the backside?
