DIY Lanterns...are they too much?

    Tell me what you think, there will be 2 per 6 foot table with pillar candles in them, I'm going for vintage garden theme. Are they too much, too busy? Also having 1 twine wrapped vase with some wildflowers and plain glass votives scattered around each table.If anyone is interested I posted a tutorial for these here: http://andthebrideworepurple.blogspot.com/2009/11/diy-do-over-twine-lanterns.html

    Those are super cute and it won't be too much, it's suprising how big  each table actually ends up looking. Your plan should be perfect!

    thanks for all your kind words!  i feel a lot more confident about them now! 

    pudding-i made them with twine edging, yarn, and glue, i put a link below the pic to the tutorial i wrote up.
