I saw that the other day! I will be very interested to see how it works. I love letterpress.
I just posted that on here yesterday http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/diy-letterpress-coming-soon :) Pricing isnt up yet, but the plates themselves are $24.99 each. I have the cutter machine from the same company, it is $299 but it also hooks up to a computer and is alot more technical so it was a bit expensive. Knowing the pricing of their other products Im gonna guess it will be in the $150-$200 range. I wish I still had invites to make, I would get it!
I just saw here that the starter kit will probably retail for $149.99 which is an awesome price considering what it does.
The only thing is I wonder if you can make your own designs or do you have to use there plates only. The have great designs but it would be nice to have flexibility
@ Duckling - if you go to their site, www.lifestylecraft.com, and look on their blog they have a very brief idea of how it works. Looks really cool and simple!
@msgirard - it looks like for now you will have to use their plates. If its anything like the other items (from Quickutz, the parent company) they will release new plates and designs every couple months. I dont think you will be able to customize the font like to letterpress a whole invitation, but you can print it on the computer and add letterpress elements.
I saw that the other day on my local scrapbook store's blog the other day, it's really neat!
Thought I would update and let you know that they will be producing something to allow for customization. Yippee!!!

(bump)
Have any of you ladies purchased this at-home letterpress machine? I'm dying to have letterpress invitations, but would prefer a DIY solution if possible.
Any personal reviews of this machine?
thanks!

I just read this posting on the DIYBride blog and I am like WOW. A at home letterpress machine. This is going to open a whole new world for DIY brides. I am anxious to see how much it will cost.
