So I have been trying to use some ideas I got off the bee and I am not sure if I accomplished it…I wear little to no makeup and have been trying very hard to figure it out for the wedding. I tried going heavier but it felt so cakey and I kept messing with my face soo natural it is…. Anyway, here is what I have so far:
Style B, I went a lot lighter on the lips and heavier under eyes)
Style C, this is what I normally wear when dressing up so it is very light)

And then for good measure, me without makeup:

@Payless: the coloring of your photos are kinda off. but they all look good to me. you have big beautiful lips. i think they should be played up like the first pic.

@Payless: Maybe you could retake these pictures in more natural light? Honesly I can’t even tell a difference between any of your looks because the room you’re in is entirely too yellow.

You need consistancy with lighting in all the samples to vote a little better. Sorry…It’s hard to make a choice. Everything looks too orange. Natural outdoor light is better.

@Payless: First off I want to start out and say you are GORGEOUS! Second off, I think these looks are all great for daytime/work…. if this is for your wedding I would go a bit more glam. Thats just me though, maybe you don’t have the same taste!
In any case you do a great job at doing makeup!

@MrsKnox: +1… They all look quite similar, aside from the lips.

I will have my darling take pictures of me outside for better reference and will try to post looks again! I really don’t have much experience with makeup so I guess what I thought looked different does kinda look the same….Back to the drawing board, sigh

When I want a new make up look, I normally hit up the MAC counter. If you purchase like $40 or $50 of product they’ll do a complimentary make up session and talk you through what they’re doing so you can recreate the look at home that they did in the store. Most of there artists are amazing, I like to wait till a night out and go grab the products I’ve run out of all at once so they’ll do my makeup while I’m there. just an idea. You can always check out some of the make up gurus on YouTube for more idea too. Your on the right track but it looks like it needs a little more makeup for a wedding day look.
