I’m not sure if you put blusher on your chin and nose, but those areas look a little too pink IMO. And although youare very pretty, the makeup looks very bare, like all I can tell you are wearing is eyeliner. I would probably go a bit heavier on everytjing but the eyeliner so that it shows up in pictures.

as a profesh MUA who does a whole lot of weddings, you definitely need more.  Especially since it’s an outdoor wedding.  with this look in photos, you’ll look washed out and like you don’t have any makeup on at all.

rather than pick apart or go step by step, i’d suggest looking for a makeup look you like online or in a magazine and take that to a sephora or my personal favorite Bobbi Brown.  those girls know their bridal business.

also, brows-brows-BROWS.  they are the frame to the face and make a ton of difference when sculpted and filled in.

I think the makeup looks a bit TOO natural. If you will do it yourself, I would probably look at some youtube videos for tutorials of wedding ooks that you love.

I’d darken up the eyeshadow a bit- it looks great in those pics but won’t read as well from far away, try taking a few pictures from further away to see if you have enough for the look you want.

@dancingintherain24:  I’d go with overall.  you want to make sure you have enough color on your cheeks, lips, eyes, brows…..you see where I’m going?  lol.  there are lots of great tutorial videos on youtube.  I’d keep practicing and take photos after each trial and in natural light.

If you still don’t feel comfortable doing your own after a bunch of practice, I would highly suggest finding space in your budget to hire an artist.  I did my own makeup as well as my bms and i completely regret it.  Not only because as an artist, it’s difficult to be objective on yourself for an occasion so huge and also because it took waaaaaaay too much time (when I should have been relaxing) and ended up making me late for the ceremony. I look at my photos and cringe because I know I could have looked better.

This was the best of my many many many trial runs I did on myself.  I still don’t think I was able to recreate it completely but this was the look i was going for.

I think you should ease up on the bottom eye liner. Your eyes will look closed in pictures.  I’m a wedding photographer and that is one of my pet peeves with brides, too much eye liner.  You can’t see they eyes when they were so much liner. You don’t need that much. Go more natural on the bottom.
