Really pretty! In some photos the contouring looks a little muddy near your mouth and nose, but that could be the funky lighting. I would maybe add a pinch more blush (stick with a bronzey tone I think, something like Benefit Dallas). You have gorgeous eyebrows.

Love your eyebrows! Do you have a better camera that you can take pictures with? I did my own makeup for my wedding and took pictures with my DSLR to get a better idea of how my makeup would turn out on the day of.

208bride:  you’re very pretty and the make up looks good.

I do this for a living, so take the following notes for whatever thst is worth to you:

lighten lower lash liner a lot, use a concealer under the eyes a few shades lighter than skin tone, and in my opinion, your lipstick is too dark for that level of eye make up and it does not play up your eye color. I would use a more nude peachy tone, and a nice peachy soft blush like Nars orgasm but without the sparkle.

in low light like a reception, dark eyeliner underneath can make circles on video. In bright outdoor light, it can look too harsh. It’s just not a great idea when you’re being taped unless the light levels are controlled like they are in a studio or on the red carpet.

Tinatiny1:  +1 I’m also a makeup artist and absolutely agree

I also think if you are trying to contour, you need to use a lighter concealer (or in other wedding’s I’ve done, actually working with a foundation one-two shades lighter and applying it along T-zone.

I think all in all they eyes and lips are much too dark and won’t photograph well. I also think the foundation looks a little matte.

coffeedrinker:  hi fellow MUA!  good points re contouring, and I agree re using lighter foundation. It actually blends better than concealer and doesn’t cake as much under the eye.

I love it, you look beautiful, I think a touch more blush, and a softer color on the lower lashline.

I LOVE your lip color, dare I ask what it is? It’s exactly what I’ve been picturing for myself!

208bride:  my pleasure:-) just the lower liner is too dark, you really don’t want much there,,just a smudged line at outer corner. The  lighter foundation is only for under eyes, top of nose, center of forehead and under nose. It’s contouring and highlighting basically!

I like Macs contour ing powder for under cheeks, sides of nose, temples ( well blended and powder over it) and the blush applied on apples of cheeks in circular motion for a natural blush look. They also make a great highlighter glow in a golden champage shimmer that would look great as cheekbone highlight for you. That has to be just barely applied, but it can look great esp for a bride. it’s dewy glow, fresh looking:-)
