It’s been a little while since there’s been a post about manzanita centre pieces, so I thought I’d check in to see what you brides are doing.
I love the look of the manzanita centrepieces, but not the price. Have any of you attempted to create something similar without using actual manzanita branches? Or, better yet, any advice about where/how I could go about finding similar materials?
I’m getting married in the fall, so I’m hoping to do dark manzanita branch in a wooden box with tea lights hanging. Any suggestions on how I should start?

@tennjm2663: You can check Adhuntr for used manzanita branches. Adhuntr shows all Craigslist ads on one site. I can’t be more specific as I don’t know where you live.
You can spray paint them any color you want.. Use plaster of paris or insulating foam to secure the branches in the container of your choice. You can also use the plaster of paris to secure the branch in a disposable plastic container, like a yogurt container. After the plaster of paris has hardened you can cut and peel away the plastic and simply set the whole thing in your chosen container. This way you don’t wreck the vase.
